SULLIVAN'S
On October 17, 2010, Smith Chapel dedicated a classroom in Lambert Hall. The dedication was done to honor the memory and service of Danny Sullivan and his mother, Edith, who both dedicated many hours to the service of the Lord in this place. The "Sullivan Room" will be used in various ways depending upon the immediate needs of the congregation. Thus far it has been used to varying degrees as a Sunday School class room, an office, an audio-visual room, and a sometime storage area.
The dedication was held during the Sunday worship service, with special music by Chrissie Dalton (Danny's daughter). Linda Sullivan (Danny's spouse) was our pianist for the service. Many of the family members traveled to attend that day. Pastor Zuchelli preached a message from 2 Timothy entitled We're There.
It is our hope that the sign "Sullivan Room" door will be a continual reminder of the debt we owe to those who have faithfully served before us. We stand on their shoulders to see the future of our church. So we honor them as saints of glory whose lives are a tribute to their Savior and ours.
