2010 PICNIC/CONCERT
We held a Church Picnic and Concert on Saturday, September 11 from Noon to Four PM . The concert this year featured Jayme Salviati from Martinsburg, WV, and Chrissie Dalton from Winchester, VA.
The Picnic began at noon with a time for gathering. Food was served at 12:30 PM with a Pie Baking Contest from 1:30 to 2 PM (everyone was able to taste the results along with some ice cream). Our own Joyce Toia was the big winner this year with her scrumptious raspberry pie.
The music began shortly thereafter with a short time of worship music followed by sets performed by Chrissie and Jayme.
The day ended by observing the 9-11 anniversary with an old fashioned Patriotic Hymn Sing.
